With the same purpose, in 2017 Palmieri launches Piquadro MyStartup Funding Program, an open innovation project which promotes innovation and enterprise by rewarding the best business ideas in the area of technology applied to the luggage and fashion accessories industry and rewards the best business idea with 100,000 euros and an acceleration path in Silicon Valley. With that same goal of discovering and giving voice to new, different and untapped talents, in 2009 Marco Palmieri founds the Fondazione Famiglia Palmieri (Palmieri Family Foundation) with the goal of continuing his family’s philanthropic activity, valuing the diversity of people affected by Down’s syndrome.
